CTS extends CSR programme with sponsorship of Addington Judo Club

Monday 7th January 2019

CTS has chosen to focus its CSR efforts on sponsoring causes close to the hearts of customers and staff in 2019. It is proud to start the year announcing its support of Addington Judo Club. The club has been run by CTS Engineer, Gareth Merredew and his father for more than  20 years and has recently struggled for funding. In order to stay open, the club was in desperate need of new judo mats so Gareth approached CTS to see if the business could help.

CTS completed the purchase of the judo mats to ensure that the club could continue to operate and stay open for the children who use the facility.

Gareth Merredew comments, “Addington Judo Club would like to thank CTS for their generous donation toward our mat fund, with this we will be able to continue the clubs good work that has been at the heart of a tough and economically challenged community since 1954.”
